Visio - How to connect two shape with line over another line?

Asked By Bhupendra on 21-Mar-07 03:23 PM
Hi,
I am having problem with connecting two routers with line connection tool.
When i connect two router, cable cross over with another cable and I want to
show that this is two different cables. I don't want to cross them. I want to
create small hump at crossing point. Please let me know what can i change in
my page setting to show this cross line hump. I am using Visio 2003 pro.

Thanks.

menu File -> Page Setup -> Layout and Routing
section Line Jumps
set the style to Arc

Paul,

Let me thank you first for quick reply. I looked at my setting and it was
same as you talked about but didn't work on that page. I am able to copy my
old drawing and start working in this page and it was able to curve around
crossing point. I am not sure which setting is causing this effect. It must
be with my page setup. I will appreciate more suggestion on this page set up.
Thanks.

You may need to experiment a bit with the settings, maybe move the
existing lines slightly to get them to reroute.
